When I planned my sister trip this past July… I knew automatically a few places that we must go. While we knew we wanted to do Paris + the South of France during the summertime (because obviously there’s nothing prettier than the water + all the Aperol Spritz that I certainly consumed… we knew we wanted to experience cultures, history, and art.
The places we decided on outside of France were:
The Netherlands (Amsterdam proper) and Ireland (Dublin) during our short stay.
While this first blog post is about Amsterdam the others will be soon to come - see my last trip to Ireland by clicking HERE .
Okay, back to Amsterdam… we loved exploring this city and got lost in it’s beauty. Amsterdam is one of those cities that you can walk around with no agenda and be completely smitten with what you find. It reminded me a lot of Brooklyn in New York. Amazing places to eat, shop, and see. While the history speaks for itself the architecture is hard to be left un-noticed as well.
Our list from the city consist of many things you’ve probably heard of but some amazing places you haven’t as well.
PLACES TO STAY:
• The Hoxton, one of my favorite hotel lines (all are super delightful)
• The Kimpton De Witt Hotel
• Sir Albert Hotel
• The Dylan Amsterdam
• Hotel Pultizer
* All places in Amsterdam seemed to have a similar aesthetic, vibe, and look. All delightful!
